- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, molasses, and vanilla until smooth.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and salt.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until fully combined.
- Fold in optional white chocolate chips.
- Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool in pan 15 minutes, then remove using parchment paper. Dust with powdered sugar and cut into squares.

For extra festive flair, drizzle with melted white chocolate or decorate with crushed candy canes.
