Ingredients
  

Pasta and Sauce
  • 12 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or fusilli)
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until translucent and fragrant.
  3. Add ground turkey to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cook until browned, breaking up the meat.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook until sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until coated in the creamy sauce.
  7. Adjust seasoning as needed. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Leftovers reheat well with a splash of cream or broth. Add vegetables like spinach or zucchini for extra nutrition.
