Ingredients
  

  • 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup cream soda
  • 0.25 cup milk

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line cupcake pan.
  2. Whisk dry ingredients together.
  3. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla.
  5. Alternate dry ingredients with cream soda and milk.
  6. Bake 18–20 minutes and cool.
  7. Prepare frosting and pipe onto cupcakes.

Notes

Serve with extra butterscotch drizzle for authenticity.
