Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter or coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 spray olive oil spray
  • 0.25 cup coconut sugar or regular sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Bring water, butter, honey, and vanilla to a boil in a saucepan. Stir in flour and salt until dough forms.
  2. Let dough cool slightly, then beat in the egg until smooth.
  3. Pipe small churro bites onto parchment paper using a star tip piping bag.
  4. Spray lightly with oil. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes until golden.
  5. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Toss warm churro bites in mixture until coated.
  6. Serve warm with chocolate or caramel dip.

Notes

Best eaten fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the air fryer for 2 minutes before serving.
