Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup powdered sugar
  • 0.5 cup freeze-dried strawberries crushed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1-2 tbsp milk if needed

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk flour, cornstarch, salt, and crushed strawberries together in a bowl.
  3. Beat butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy, then mix in vanilla.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  5. Add milk if dough is crumbly, mixing gently.
  6. Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness and cut into heart shapes.
  7. Place cookies on baking sheet and chill for 15 minutes.
  8. Bake 14–16 minutes until set. Cool completely before serving.

Notes

Cookies can be dipped in chocolate, glazed, or dusted with powdered sugar. Store airtight for up to 5 days or freeze for longer storage.
