  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg beaten for egg wash

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface to smooth edges.
  3. Combine cream cheese, shredded cheese, Parmesan, chopped herbs, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Cut puff pastry into 12 equal squares.
  5. Place 1–2 teaspoons of the cheese-herb mixture in the center of each square.
  6. Fold corners over filling, pinching to seal, forming small pouches.
  7. Arrange on baking sheet, spacing evenly.
  8. Brush each puff pastry bite with beaten egg.
  9. Bake 15–20 minutes until golden brown and slightly melted.
  10. Cool 2–3 minutes before serving. Serve warm with a dipping sauce if desired.

Notes

Optional: add red pepper flakes or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor. Best served fresh but can be reheated for a few minutes.
