  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
  • 2-3 tbsp honey or maple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp lemon zest optional
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon optional
  • 1/3 cup mini dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp chopped pistachios or walnuts optional garnish
  • fresh fruit, graham crackers, or pretzels for serving

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese and Greek yogurt until smooth.
  2. Add honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, lemon zest, and cinnamon. Mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Gently fold in mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and smooth the top.
  5. Optional: sprinkle chopped pistachios or walnuts over the top.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve with fresh fruit, graham crackers, or pretzels.
  8. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Notes

Optional: add a scoop of protein powder for extra protein. Can be used as a filling for mini cannoli shells.
