  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup buttermilk adjust for consistency
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley or 1 tbsp fresh
  • 1 tsp dried dill or 1 tbsp fresh
  • 1 tsp chives optional, chopped
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp lemon juice optional

Method
 

  1. Whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk in a medium bowl.
  2. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, dill, chives, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add lemon juice if desired. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  4. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve as salad dressing, vegetable dip, or sauce for sandwiches.

Notes

Adjust buttermilk for thickness. Store in airtight container in refrigerator up to 1 week.
