- Pat chicken dry and place in a shallow dish.
- In a bowl, whisk honey, lime juice, zest, garlic, oil, paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Pour marinade over chicken and marinate 20–30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet with a little oil over medium-high heat.
- Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side.
- Pour remaining marinade into skillet and simmer to thicken.
- Add butter for extra shine and richness if desired.
- Cook until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Rest 5 minutes, then garnish with cilantro and lime slices.
Notes
Use thighs for juicier results. Add extra honey for a stickier glaze or extra lime for brightness.
