Ingredients
  

Pizza Dough
  • 1 batch pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 8 oz spicy Italian sausage cooked and sliced
  • 1 small red onion thinly sliced
  • 1-2 tbsp hot honey adjust to taste
  • fresh arugula or basil leaves for garnish
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Pizza stone or baking sheet
  • Mixing bowls
  • Rolling pin
  • Parchment paper
  • Knife and cutting board

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
  2. Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to desired thickness.
  3. Brush dough lightly with olive oil.
  4. Spread shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough, followed by crumbled feta cheese.
  5. Arrange cooked sausage slices and red onion evenly on top. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
  6. Slide pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet and bake 12–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  7. Remove pizza from oven and drizzle hot honey over the top.
  8. Garnish with fresh arugula or basil leaves. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

Adjust the amount of hot honey depending on your preferred sweetness and spice level. Pre-bake dough for extra crispiness if desired.
