Ingredients

Cheesecake Batter
  • 500 g cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Loaf pan
  • Wire rack
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line loaf pan with parchment paper and butter lightly.
  2. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and beat until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Sift in flour and salt; fold gently until incorporated.
  5. Fold in heavy cream carefully to maintain airy texture.
  6. Pour batter into loaf pan. Bake 40–50 minutes until top is deeply caramelized and center slightly wobbly.
  7. Cool in pan 30 minutes, then refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Remove from pan using parchment edges, slice, and serve.

Notes

Chill overnight for best slicing results. Top can be lightly broiled for deeper caramelization.
