Method
- Slice steak thinly and combine with soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and green onions. Marinate at least 30 minutes.
- Cook rice according to package instructions.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear marinated beef 2–3 minutes per side until browned and caramelized.
- Place cooked rice in bowls. Top with cooked steak.
- Drizzle with any remaining marinade, sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
- Add optional steamed vegetables if desired.
- Serve hot immediately.
Notes
For best results, marinate overnight. Can be stored in fridge for meal prep and reheated gently.
