Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Stir in shredded cheddar and chopped jalapeños until evenly combined.
- Pour in beer and stir until just combined; do not overmix.
- Pour batter into loaf pan. Smooth top and brush with melted butter.
- Bake 45–50 minutes until toothpick comes out clean and crust is golden.
- Cool 10 minutes in pan, then transfer to wire rack. Slice and serve warm.
Notes
Bread can be stored wrapped at room temperature for 2–3 days or frozen for longer storage.
