Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2.25 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 egg
Filling
  • 6 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2-3 jalapenos diced
  • 2 tbsp green onions chopped
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Activate yeast in warm milk with sugar, then mix with egg, butter, flour, and salt to form dough.
  2. Knead until smooth, then let rise 1 hour.
  3. Mix filling ingredients until combined.
  4. Roll dough into rectangle, spread filling, roll into log.
  5. Place in loaf pan, rise 30 minutes.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35–40 minutes until golden.

Notes

For extra richness, add bacon bits or mix mozzarella into the filling. Serve warm for best texture.
