Ingredients
  

Soup Base
  • 14 oz smoked kielbasa sliced
  • 4 cups potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 yellow onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Brown kielbasa in butter and set aside.
  2. Cook onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add flour, broth, potatoes, and seasoning.
  4. Simmer until potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in dairy and return sausage before serving.

Notes

For thicker soup, mash some potatoes in the pot. Add cheese for extra richness.
