Ingredients
  

Main Cocktail
  • 2 ripe kiwis peeled and sliced
  • 2-3 slices jalapeño adjust to taste
  • 2 oz silver tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec or Cointreau
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup or agave nectar
  • ice cubes as needed
  • Tajín or chili-salt for glass rim
  • kiwi slice or jalapeño wheel for garnish

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer
  • Muddler
  • Serving glasses

Method
 

  1. Rim glass with lime juice and dip in Tajín or chili-salt.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, muddle kiwi slices and jalapeño.
  3. Add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and simple syrup.
  4. Fill shaker with ice and shake well for 15–20 seconds.
  5. Strain into prepared glass with ice and garnish.

Notes

Adjust jalapeño to control spiciness. For a frozen version, blend ingredients with crushed ice.
