Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp culinary lavender finely ground
  • 2 tbsp Earl Grey tea leaves finely ground
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk or cream

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Grind lavender and Earl Grey tea with granulated sugar until fine.
  3. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together.
  4. Cream butter with lavender-tea sugar and brown sugar until fluffy.
  5. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients and milk until just combined.
  7. Scoop dough onto baking sheets and bake 11–13 minutes.
  8. Cool briefly before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Use culinary lavender only. Flavor deepens after resting overnight.
