Ingredients
  

Lemon Syrup
  • 0.75 cup water
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 lemons zested
  • 0.25 cup lemon juice fresh
Cream Layer
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 0.75 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese softened
Assembly
  • 1 package ladyfinger cookies

Method
 

  1. Prepare lemon syrup and cool completely.
  2. Whip cream with sugar and vanilla, then blend in mascarpone.
  3. Dip ladyfingers briefly in lemon syrup.
  4. Layer cookies and cream in serving dish.
  5. Chill at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, allow tiramisu to chill overnight. Garnish just before serving.
