Mango Iced Tea

Refreshing iced tea blended with ripe mango puree, lemon, and honey for a tropical homemade drink.

Ingredients
  

Tea Base
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
Mango Puree
  • 2 ripe mangoes peeled and diced
  • 2-3 tbsp honey or sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 lemon juice from 1 lemon
  • as needed ice cubes
  • as needed fresh mint leaves for garnish

  • Pitcher
  • Tall glasses

Method
 

  1. Boil water and steep tea bags 5–7 minutes, then remove bags and cool.
  2. Blend diced mangoes into a smooth puree, add honey or sugar if desired.
  3. Mix cooled tea with mango puree, add lemon juice and additional sweetener as needed.
  4. Chill mixture for at least 1 hour.
  5. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with mint leaves.

Notes

Adjust sweetness or tartness to preference; ripe mangoes provide natural sweetness.
