- Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and optional red pepper flakes for 2–3 minutes.
- Add optional cooked chicken or shrimp and heat through.
- Stir in heavy cream, broth, butter, garlic powder, and Parmesan. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add cooked tortellini to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
- Serve immediately with garlic bread or salad.
