Ingredients
  

  • 12 mini hot dogs or cocktail sausages
  • 0.5 cup cornmeal
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 12 wooden skewers or toothpicks

  • Air fryer
  • Mixing bowls
  • Tall glass for dipping

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Insert skewers into mini hot dogs.
  3. Mix dry ingredients and combine with milk and egg to make batter.
  4. Pour batter into a tall glass for dipping.
  5. Dip each skewered hot dog into batter.
  6. Place coated mini corn dogs in air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
  8. Serve warm with dipping sauces.

Notes

Customize by adding shredded cheese to the batter or using spicy mini sausages.
