Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour heat-treated
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • 12 oz chocolate for coating

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Parchment-lined baking sheet
  • Spoon or cookie scoop

Method
 

  1. Heat flour in oven at 350°F for 5–7 minutes. Cool.
  2. Cream butter and brown sugar, mix in vanilla. Gradually add cooled flour and salt. Stir in chocolate chips.
  3. Scoop small dough balls onto parchment-lined sheet. Freeze 10–15 minutes.
  4. Melt chocolate until smooth.
  5. Dip chilled dough balls in chocolate, place back on parchment, add toppings if desired.
  6. Refrigerate until chocolate sets, serve or store in airtight container.

Notes

Decorate with sprinkles or drizzle additional chocolate. Store in airtight container for up to a week.
