Ingredients
  

Pizza Sauce
  • 28 oz whole peeled San Marzano tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 6 fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 0.5 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 0.25 tsp sugar optional

Method
 

  1. Drain and prepare San Marzano tomatoes.
  2. Mash or blend tomatoes to desired consistency.
  3. Add minced garlic, chopped basil, olive oil, salt, and sugar.
  4. Mix thoroughly and adjust seasoning to taste.
  5. Let sit for 15-20 minutes to meld flavors.
  6. Use immediately on pizza, flatbread, or as a pasta sauce.
