Ingredients
  

  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks 1–1.5 inches thick
  • 1.5 lb baby potatoes halved
  • 0.75 cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.75 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Toss potatoes with olive oil, half the salt, half the pepper, and smoked paprika.
  3. Spread potatoes cut-side down and roast for 20 minutes.
  4. Season steaks with remaining salt and pepper.
  5. Mix parmesan, butter, garlic, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Add steaks to pan and press parmesan mixture onto each steak.
  7. Roast 12–15 minutes until desired doneness.
  8. Broil 1–2 minutes for a golden crust, rest 5 minutes, then serve.

Notes

Broil carefully to avoid burning the parmesan crust.
