Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 0.5 cup Italian sausage or ground beef cooked
  • 0.25 cup pepperoni sliced
  • 0.25 cup bell peppers diced
  • 0.25 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 2 tbsp black olives optional
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
Crust
  • 1 tube pizza dough
  • 1 egg for egg wash

Equipment

  • Ramekins or oven-safe bowls
  • Rolling pin
  • Baking sheet
  • Pastry brush

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease ramekins.
  2. Roll dough and cut circles slightly larger than ramekins.
  3. Add cheese to bottom of ramekins.
  4. Layer meat, pepperoni, vegetables, and seasoning.
  5. Top with pizza sauce and more cheese.
  6. Cover with dough and seal edges.
  7. Brush with egg wash and cut small slit.
  8. Bake 18–22 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Let rest a few minutes before serving so filling sets. Serve with extra marinara or garlic butter for dipping.
