Donuts
  • 1.75 cups flour all-purpose
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp nutmeg
  • 0.5 tsp ginger ground
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 cup milk
Krispie Coating
  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
Hot Honey Glaze
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 0.5 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp butter

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease donut pan.
  2. Whisk dry ingredients together.
  3. Mix wet ingredients and combine with dry until smooth.
  4. Fill donut pan and bake 12–15 minutes.
  5. Mix Krispie coating and prepare hot honey glaze.
  6. Brush donuts with glaze, dip in coating, then drizzle glaze again.
