Ingredients
  

Pumpkin Buns
  • 12 slider buns or homemade dough shaped into pumpkins
  • 1 egg wash 1 egg + 1 tbsp water
  • 12 pretzel sticks for stems
Slider Fillings
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese cut in half
  • optional toppings lettuce, tomato, pickles, condiments

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Mixing bowls
  • Skillet or grill pan
  • Kitchen twine

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Shape slider buns into pumpkins or score premade buns. Brush with egg wash and bake until golden.
  3. Season ground beef with garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Shape into 12 patties and cook on skillet or grill for 3–4 minutes per side.
  5. Top with cheese slices to melt.
  6. Assemble sliders with buns, patties, and toppings. Insert pretzel stick as stem.
  7. Serve warm as festive appetizers.

Notes

Best served fresh. Use different proteins or veggie patties for variety.
