Method
- Season chicken with salt and pepper. Sear in olive oil until golden. Remove from skillet.
- Melt butter in the same skillet. Add garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and Italian seasoning.
- Pour in chicken broth and cream. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
- Stir in parmesan until melted. Add red pepper flakes if using.
- Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over top, and simmer until fully cooked.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot with pasta, rice, or bread.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream. Add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor and nutrition.
