- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in vanilla extract and red food coloring.
- Whisk flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
- Roll dough into balls and place on baking sheet.
- Bake 12–14 minutes until set.
- Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar, cool, then roll again.
