  • 2 cups red velvet cake crumbs baked or store-bought
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar for rolling
  • 1 tbsp milk optional
Decoration
  • white chocolate drizzle optional
  • crushed candy canes optional garnish

Method
 

  1. Crumble red velvet cake into fine crumbs.
  2. Mix with cream cheese, butter, cocoa, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Add milk if needed for texture.
  4. Roll into small balls and refrigerate until firm.
  5. Roll each in powdered sugar to coat completely.
  6. Decorate with drizzle or candy cane bits as desired.
  7. Store chilled and serve cold or room temp.

Notes

Double roll in powdered sugar before serving for a snowier look. Great for gifting or party platters.
