Ingredients
  

Base
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika optional
Cheese Mixture
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese grated
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 tbsp cold water

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix Rice Krispies, flour, salt, and paprika.
  3. Cut in the softened cheddar and butter until mixture is crumbly.
  4. Add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, until dough comes together.
  5. Roll dough between two sheets of parchment to 1/8 inch thickness.
  6. Cut into desired cracker shapes and place on baking sheet.
  7. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  8. Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Store crackers in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Add a pinch of cayenne for a spicy twist.
