Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 unbaked pie crust store-bought or homemade
Filling
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter browned
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp whiskey
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt plus more for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown butter in saucepan.
  3. Whisk in honey, sugars, and whiskey.
  4. Whisk in eggs, cream, vanilla, and salt.
  5. Pour into crust and bake 45–52 minutes.
  6. Cool fully and finish with flaky salt.
