Method
- Wash banana peppers and remove stems. Remove seeds if desired.
- Stuff each pepper with shredded cheese.
- Prepare three shallow bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each stuffed pepper in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pan or fryer.
- Fry peppers in batches until golden and crispy, about 3–4 minutes per side.
- Drain fried peppers on paper towels.
- Optional: sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with dipping sauce.
Notes
Ensure oil temperature is consistent to avoid soggy coating. Serve immediately for best texture.
