- Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and shallot and sauté until fragrant.

- Reduce heat and fold in smoked salmon.
- Add cooked linguine and toss, adding pasta water as needed.
- Season with salt, pepper, and garnish with fresh herbs.
Notes
Use cold-smoked salmon for a delicate texture or hot-smoked for a flakier, stronger flavor.
