  • 0.5 cup strawberry puree
Crunch Topping
  • 20 golden sandwich cookies crushed
  • 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries crushed

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare cake batter and bake layers.
  3. Cool completely before frosting.
  4. Prepare vanilla frosting.
  5. Assemble cake and coat with strawberry crunch topping.

Add crunch topping just before serving for best texture.
