Ingredients
  

Cream Cheese Mint Dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 3.5-4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1-1.5 tsp orange extract
  • 1 tsp orange zest optional
  • 1 drop orange gel food coloring
Optional Coating
  • granulated sugar for rolling

Method
 

  1. Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add orange extract, zest, and food coloring; mix well.
  3. Add powdered sugar gradually until dough becomes firm and non-sticky.
  4. Roll into small balls and press with a fork.
  5. Optional: Roll mints in granulated sugar.
  6. Chill at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

For extra burst of flavor, increase orange extract slightly or add a little more zest. These freeze beautifully for up to 3 months.
