Ingredients
  

Freezie Mixture
  • 1 cup watermelon diced, seeds removed
  • 1 banana ripe, peeled and sliced
  • 0.5 cup plain unsweetened yogurt optional
  • 1 tsp honey optional, for dogs older than 1 year

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Silicone popsicle molds
  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Prepare the fruit by removing seeds from the watermelon and slicing the banana.
  2. Blend watermelon, banana, and optional yogurt and honey until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into silicone molds or small cups, inserting sticks.
  4. Freeze for at least 4 hours until solid.
  5. Serve directly to dogs as a refreshing summer treat.
  6. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

Introduce new foods gradually to monitor for allergies. Do not add toxic ingredients like chocolate or grapes.
