Ingredients
  

Pizza
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic thinly sliced
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella torn
  • 1 lemon very thinly sliced
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes optional
Fresh Herbs
  • 0.25 cup fresh basil
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme

Equipment

  • Pizza stone or baking sheet
  • Rolling pin
  • Parchment paper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with stone or pan inside.
  2. Stretch dough into a thin round on parchment.
  3. Brush with olive oil and add garlic, mozzarella, and lemon slices.
  4. Season lightly and bake 10–14 minutes until golden.
  5. Finish with fresh herbs and olive oil before slicing.

Notes

Slice lemons thinly to avoid bitterness.
